Frequently Asked Questions

What would be the cause for my application to be denied?

If a BookSneeze application is denied it may be that the applicant did not meet the programs current preferred criteria. In order to best suit the needs of its members, BookSneeze has standard preferences we look for in its applicants. Based on the current needs of the program, these criteria may change, but typically the program hopes to attract bloggers with:

  • An actively maintained personal, public blog. The program does not accept Facebook, Amazon, Goodreads or any other type of community profile site as a viable form of blog.
  • Bloggers who have a visible minimum of 30 followers or subscribers. If the BookSneeze team cannot view this follower count, we cannot currently accept your application. There are multiple options in order to place a follower count on your blog, such as Google Friend Connect, Wordpress Follow Blog Widget, Blogger Buzz, Twitter follower buttons, Facebook follower buttons, and using a Feedburner Count.
  • Bloggers who regularly post content of at least once per week.
  • Bloggers who reside in the United States

Currently, we are not accepting any more international bloggers. However, this is likely to change.

Once your blog meets the current preferences, please feel free to apply. If you have applied and received a rejection notice, please ensure that your blog does meet these requirements. If and when they do, contact us through email a help@booksneeze.com and we will be happy to review your application again. Please note, you may not submit a new application as we keep all applications on file.

If your blog currently meets these needs and you still have received a rejection notice, please contact help@booksneeze.com.

I have finished reviewing my book. Do I need to return the book to BookSneeze®? What should I do with it?

The book is now yours. You can add it to your library, pass it along to a friend, or give it away on your blog.

I don’t see any books that interest me? Are there more books available?

All reviewers can see all the available selections. If you don’t see anything that interests you, please check back as we are constantly updating the selection.

Do your eBooks work for Kindle, Nook, etc?

Yes! Our eBooks will work for most eReaders. Be sure to download the Mobi file for Kindles and the ePub file will work for most others. If you need more help here is a link to our eBook Help Page http://booksneeze.com/ebook-help

It seems like it is taking forever for my book to arrive. Who should I contact to see if it has been lost in transit?

Try posting your review at thomasnelson.com, christianbook.com, barnesandnoble.com, borders.com, or booksamillion.com. And please note that sometimes it will take a day or so for your review to appear.

I need to take a break for reviewing products. Who should I contact?
